I've put my 08 Berg for sale online a week or 2 ago...
Didn't have any interesting offers and I realy love this bike so a few days ago I decided to remove it from the net.
Today I get email from someone who want's to buy it
The main reason I put it up for sale was I would love a 010 fs570 BUT I know my 650 is a realy good reliable bike the 570 not so sure....
Reason 2 to keep it is the fact I realy want to ride some trackdays in august and just some fun rides on the road and so one and the 570fs would only be for 2010 :?
But I also think that now I can get a good price for it and save a few months and will be able to buy a 570 with some nice stuff for it :p
If I wait another year I will get much less for it AND put some €in the engine for new parts I will need in a couple of months...

I'm realy confused :(

I think the 570 will be a much more reliable bike than the 650 if that helps. I also try to sell my bikes after 2 years while they still retain some value.

My 650 is 2years old in november (08 model but bought in end 07).
And so far it has been very reliable 110 hours with no problems what so ever (only some minor oil leaks in some places) the 570 wil handle better (aldo my 650 is the best handing bike I've ridden so far  ) but the 570 will have less power and needs more revs (big bore kit :?: )

in order to avoid this type of sticky situation, i buy a well used bike, keep it for a long time, dump tons of money into upgrades and improvements, and plan on losing most all the money i have put into when i give it away for 10 cents on the dollar.
i have been very successful with this formula to date, so why fix something that isnt broke?
plus, who wants to have a new, or near new bike?
i know that berger's eee-go requires it in his cause, but i dont know what is your excuse.

 yeah there's realy no good reason to sell mine :? (just love how the 010fs 570 looks)
I wil let the guy look at my hsb and wil not sell it for anything under 6000€ or 6500 with al the mods+ spare parts.
Have removed my adds from the web, hope he doesn't buy

Hi BBR,

If it helps you in anyway: I would sell my 570 (13.000kms) at any point this year. You can send me a Private Message if you like.
Ciao,
Adriaan

I've decided to keep mine another year
13 000km not bad in one year :p

Newest pics from 8 aug trackday

And last weekend got it to dyno to adjust my carb to remus exhaust  8O

Nice, if you sell your Berg next time let me know (supermotard.be ofzo). Nice result on the dyno (Hans gave mine 4 bhp extra without any real modifications). Have fun

hehe once a husaberg... :D

I've only got 10 hours to go in 09 (now 115h)....
Than I'l get new camchain and check the engine completely 8) I have a little project in my mind to start fresh in 010

Soonest i' sell my berg again will be end summer 010 I think

+4hp is not bad at all for standart bike! my first sm was a husqvarna 450 and I only gained 5hp in total with full doma system (wich sucked imo I like remus much better)

That's fine for some people but if nobody bought new bikes then eventually there would be no secondhand bikes? I always get good deals on my bikes new eg: 08RMZ 450 $9400-(retail is $11400) sold it 8 months later for a berg & got $9000- it took me 2 days to sell it.

There was a full EP system already on the bike;)
So how much hp now? 45-50 on the wheel :?:
Currently 124 hours on the clock :D
PS my dealer installed an new self made cam chain tensioner in my bike.... (without asking me  ) and I think it's crap I'l ask the stock one back
In december I will try to renew my berg's engine myself do'nt want to pay lots of cash for some work that's not done properly 8)
I'm a noob working on engine's but with lots of time and a little help from people/internet I'l hope things work out

That's over 100km/h average for the entire life of the bike! Pretty good going!

It has exactly 50 bhp. But after I've fixed I hope it'll go smoother and maybe it gets a little bit more hp. It broke down just after the 50 bhp was measured so something was worng in the engine that time. I was looking for another Berg but it would be a sind to sell while it just is like a new one (almost everything in the engine is new or fixed).
see you on (or off 8) ) the road.

i tried that belguin bloke with an email requesting info on buying his systems but i didn't get a reply. would one of you belguin lads make contact with him? ask him how good id his english and whether he'd sell in the trade?

BBR, you need a DVSK to save power and a top end cam. if buying a cam/ DON'T strip the engine before you have bought the cam and fitted it and measured the valve to piston. then when you strip it you can have the pockets in the piston machined ahead of the rebuild.

regards

Taffy

I will contact him, but do you mean Hans (r4 moto's) or the guy from EP exhausts? Do you want to be a dealer of his products or something? Hope I can help you.
