Hello.

I am experiencing a big problem with my 2001 FS650e.
Last day I started the enging I realized that engine oil is
of very strange color - grey.
I found out, that some water is missing in colling system
and later found out, that it made its way into the engine :-(

I have removed transmission cover and poured some water
into the left side of crankcase (where upper radiator hose come
into the engine). Few seconds later water came out of the engine
through a hole where reed valve is installed.

Can anybody explain me what could have failed?
I suspect cylinder O-rings, or is there any other possibility?

Please, comment. I'd like to get your opinion before I
put my engine apart, ... again :?

Nice day.

The o-ring is the most likely cause considering it came through so quickly.

The other alternative is the head gasket but then any leakage would take sometime to go through the engine.
