VIN Irregularity - 2005 FE 650 E

I’m negotiating with a seller of an 05’ FE 650 E who has provided me with the VIN from the title.

When I enter the VIN into an online VIN verification site, it comes back FE 550 E.

Any chance there’s a mix up from the factory.

I don’t want to assume the worst in this scenario.

Any input is always appreciated!

I got this answered - the stamp on the engine block has 820 which is the code for the 650.

For anyone interested Husaberg engine numbers stamped on the engine block:

810 = 450
815 = 550
820 = 650
