What tyre pressure do you use? Traditionally on average most have used 12 psi. I have noted with most bikes now the pressure particularly on front needs to be stronger than the springs in the forks. That is the tyre needs to be strong enough to not compress to much before the fork. 14 psi seems needed. Of course this is varied based on conditioned.

I found the bike handling particularly good in dry weather after rain the day before. Tyre pressure was measured at day end to be 10 psi.

Has any one got comment on tyre pressure?

i use 38 psi in front and 32 in rear but im driving supermoto, street tires probably different if you are driving in offroad tires

Yes. I am thinking enduro. But motocross also. With the super motor that I have no experience in I am curious about the pressure though. For street bikes I have been told rear wheel should be a little harder so the back will slide out before the back. is it you weight the front wheel with your body in ccorners?

14 psi sounds a good all round pressure that resists punctures to an extent also offroad.
Soft loamy soil , 12 psi works well
Again depends on the terrain, rider , tubes, weight on the bike ,trail riding or racing ,type of tyre ,etc.

I remember high speed desert type terrain , 18 psi in front and 24 in rear, just to help resist puncture somewhat,. but a bit skatey
If you push the bike hard and have big hits , you will still pop spokes and dent the rims.

Sometimes, I think with some tyres on the fronts, hard pressures can wear faster on the knobs or even break the outer lugs off prematurely, but that could also perhaps be tyre choice .

In sand I would say 6psi or there about would be in mine, but careful of rock or tree root ,etc

I now run Michelin Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes 4mm , I don't do punctures any more, perhaps run a little lower pressures also depending on terrain. You lose a little bit in braking and take off due to the added weight, but that suits me now as I only trail ride.

I haven't had a tyre gauge out on my bike for about 6-7 yr now.

I use the old palm pushing on the tyre by feel, and that's close enough for me these days, ha ha.

8 and 10 normally.
5 and 8 on a muddy day
VHD tubes everytime.

For me.in most off road conditions I set the front at 12.5 and rear 11.5.
Anything less in the front has given me a high speed rim ding.
Anything 15psi and above is to slippery for me.
I also use Bridgestone HD Ultra tubes.

Im running Goldspeed Maxxis pre cut slicks for road use, I'm running 24 psi rear 24 psi front , 28 psi max recommended.
