The sad noise i'm refering to is the gentle ticking of my broken valve spring ( i think!!)
Following a recent (accidental oops) over revving my bike (running on a dellorto) became absolutely impossible to start hot or cold :(
Starts breifly when cold to a lot of top end noise then cuts straight out.
Vaves adjust ok etc inlet and exhaust, i'm not into the engine yet to see but there is no visual damage or bits floating round................i think i'm gonna need your services Taffy!!

where there's a will there's a way!

can't think of anything obvious to say about it. i have a friend who can pick it up with a 7.5 tonner as he goes round the country?

Taffy

Hi Taffy, sorry for the late reply, i'm thinking of doing the other mods while i'm in there, i will do the mechs myself so no need for the transport etc but i will be giving you money for smashing parts to make my lovely but un reliable husabunga run like a dream machine!!
I think you have wrote it somewhere before but just to refresh, the mods are cam chain, cam sprocket, dual valve springs i think, i'll take your advise on this please!!!
also i have just purchased a brand new keihin 39mm will this be sufficient for the 650 if jetted properly or do i resell it and go for the 41mm, sorry to ramble!!

yes you are rambling and you need to call for a chat really. then i can emphasis the need to buy as much stuff as your crdedit limit will possibly allow! how about that!!!!

the 39 FLAT slide is the equivalent of the old 40 round slide which you have anyway. so as long as you don't go on and on tuning the 39 will be fine. so call when you're ready. evening time is also fine for this BTW.

regards

Taffy
