The 450 Husaberg did great , got over 60 miles on a tank of gas !! lots of Twistys , grave and pavement . There was 2 sections of single track . Tons of FUN !!
heya gooch, thanks for posting that. It was a blast to watch.
I had to start laughing about half way through. I've found or placed a geocache at almost every location you posted. The falls in the entry has a cache above and to the left of them on a footbridge path, the bald you guys were eating on has a cache right over the edge in the grass. The rock house with no roof you posted has a cache I and my daughter placed right behind it(we tried placing it on the top of the wall, but found that the bees keeping house there didn't take kindly to tupperware). The trail of tears run has 2 or three others on it. The log cabin has one in the woods off and to the left. The fire tower concrete pilon someone was standing on has one hidden right over the edge, towards the airport. I've placed two out further on the road you guys were playing in the water crossing on(that angled rock under the water will put you on your *** in a hurry if you're not careful!). I could go on, but you can see why I was getting a kick out of it
You(and anyone coming to the area for a little off road riding) found our Achilles' heel. Since Tellico(the off road area, not the town) was shut down last year due to conservation issues, there really isn't anywhere to trail ride. I ride at a spot called Davenport, which is a 6 mile loop. Other than that, I'm not aware of any other legal riding area close to me, aside from private property.
I've got plans to go riding with a guy that's grown up in the area and has ridden pretty much everywhere, including pretty much every place you're no longer allowed to ride(or want to, if you're sane). If anything fantastic shows up, I'll update you here for any future trips you might plan
