STRDamper MSC Titan or Scott/Ohilns which is better

Hi Sutto,

I've no idea what the current price is, I bought my last one 12 months ago to fit my then new 650, which I got from you along with heaps of other stuff as I recall. I don't plan on getting another one soon, as i expect to keep the 650 for some time yet.

I'm a bit strange in that I tend not to turn bikes over like some, I like to wear them in, and then wear them out, and that generally takes me about 10 years. If the body is up for it when I'm well into my 60s, put me down for a 2017 model! 3100km on the 650 now, and I've been bikeless out of the country for 2 months and laid up with a back injury for 1 month and had knee surgery which kept me off it for another month this year, so I'm looking forward to at least as many and more kms next year with no time off the bike, and the year after, and..........

Keep up the good work,

Cheers
Steve

I mate of mine rang Boltons Motorcycles and they said the Scotts is not as good and less adjustment on the fly and no zero to center????

Your thoughts?

I have scotts on my 650 and 501 and they both only damp away from centre.

scott damper

I just fitted a Scott damper with BRP under bar kit, bloody great bit of gear. Purchased it from the USA for AU$560 including delivery which took 7 days, closest price from our aussie shops was $855 for the full Scott SUB kit with no quoted delivery price.
Far too much of a price difference to buy locally Scott's need to help there Aussie distributor so they can be more competitive.
