The cops keep saying some weird stuff. The one guy who owned the home is in jail for a separate crime. And everyone in the house now are known felon.

I don't know where they found out about this other guy thats on the run. Supposedly he has been homeless and was staying there. But, because everyone in the house is a felon they arnt cooperating with the police.

And because the police cant see the bike. They cant do anything. They cant even question them or push charges on them for being in possession of stolen property.

Is it even safe to post a VIN online?

What's the difference now, as you've officially registered the bike as stolen. The vin will be problematic with any DMV,as its flagged as stolen.
I'd posse up,and kick some tweaker ass.Sounds like your dealing with some greasy people. Too bad the PD won't help.Ill bet if one of their personal Harley Davidsons went missing, they'd know right where to look.

If a felon on parole lives in the house, no warrant for search is necessary. You should contact your local politician, get some heat on the cops to do their job.

Thank you very interesting. I never thought about that. I will look into it.

I know it is easier said than done, But go with a few friends and tell the guy who answers the door you were told by a buddy who is in jail to come look at the bike. Mention that you were to give him the money to hold for the purchase.

Get to your bike, when you see it, call 911 and report you have found your stolen bike and you need assistance with keeping the peace so you can remove it.

If you know where it is, you as a citizen have every right to retrieve your property. If you wait for the cops to act on it you most likely will not see your Husa again.

Ya that is a issue isn't it. I really hope he gets his bike back from the scumbags who stole it, I hate hearing these stories as it seems only the criminals have rights. Not fair at all.
