Sara did you check the spark performance like I said in my last post?.
If the spark is intermitant there is clearly a problem in there some where make sure the black ground wire the one with the female connector is well grounded. Failing that for the sake of a tenner send it over and I'll run it up on the rig. If need be you can get my address off my site www.uk-motoplat.com

The spark is weak small 2mm with a 24pluggap, doesnt make any difference on bigger gap.
Thanks for the offer, ill be sending of to you before I hang myself! Bike withdrawals are hitting bad now :-(

I've just re-read your post and appears no-one has told you to check for the resistance and voltage readings on your stator wires. Because on the face of it it sounds to me like iether a faulty or incompatible stator.

Thanks for the post, we have tried different stators, starters, coil/cdi's of same years all running.
But I'm going to send of the ignition (comp) to Super Ace Sparks in Spain :D He said he would test it for me.
So for the moment I'm on hold. So I'm crossing my fingers-or ill be digging the Husky out..

Hi there, well the bike is now alive after sending the STATOR of to SPARKS to be rewound. Now it fires up of the button so easy its unreal. Anyone with this problem should get there stator straight of to sparks cause he is super ace amazing!!!!

Thanks Ste and totally buzzing now, I've now started the prosess of regestering it. Hopefully it should be road legal in a couple of weeks.

And for anyone trying to get a Q-plate odd ball on the road maybe in the future, Adrien Flux seems to be the only choice that will touch them at a dead cheap rate...
