I rode a pretty intense race last weekend, lots and lots of restarts, gas boiling like crazy, ambient temps in the low 90's, lot's of clutch slipping getting over and through massive rock gardens, fan was screaming for hours, even boiled over a tiny bit. And I had one episode like shown in the photo bucket vid.
I put the bike in neutral and just kept punching the button and after about 3 tries it fired right up and never had another problem.
So, just thinking out loud, I would say if you have that problem, put it in gear and bump the motor to a different place, and then give it a try?
My bike, and 09 570, has done this on one or two other occasions, but, after a couple of stabs it fires up.
