Ned, while you're at it, can you make me one of your specialty spark plug wrenches? :bounce3: I am finally putting together (and carrying) my own tool kit.

Well my plan is to get a hitch carrier like Speaker has.....since I have an FJ Cruiser I don't have any problems going off road, I just have a problem getting the bike there. Dominic's hitch carrier is really put together, functions really nicely.

I would love to go riding with Ned or anyone on earth for that matter, since I haven't rode since Feburary or so.....not since I had Dominic's DR650....and that was a long time ago.

Sucks to have a bike for around 6 months and not really ride it.

I think that Ned will beat the bike into submission for me, or at least die trying.

thurs a.m. had my coffee, shot the shat with the neighbor and it looks like "a piece a' cake". p.o. appears to have been quite a hammer mechanic. (hope it wasn't you, dez. tuts, did you sell him this 650?- looks like your work)
geez, dom  i'll see what i can do

Just so you know Ned, welding done by pure novice neighbor....so not the best but it was cheap....free.

Only wrenching done by me was putting stator back in, adjusting valves and carb with Dom. No hammering done by me.....if I did it would be to pulverize the bike into an unrecognizable pile of metal  .

I am guessing from your reaction it did not somehow fly out of the bed of the truck to it's doom.

As I said last night I don't hate Husabergs....I just hate that bike.

Keep me and the collective gang as to the progress.

Thanks again Ned.......truely an Husaberg diehard!!!!!!!!!!!

by p.o., i was referring to somebody in so. nevada, and the inside of the header collector. but just kidding, actually, pretty decent hammer job.
truely an Husaberg diehard
thats all we can ask for darrin, to die in our sleep and to die hard

What was welded exactly? The one thing to weld on those is in the area of the swing arm axle, usually.

nic,
the subframe had to be welded.
as far as the plugwrench, i use the 5/8 (thats 15.875 mm to you) cheapie wrench you can get at ace hdwe and cut it off and weld a smaller diameter hex top with holes so that it fits the plug chamber. you turn it with a screwdriver in the holes. then you use a piece of rubber tubing over the plug to unscrew it, and put it back in.

A great Berg plug wrench is the Emgo part #84-04116...its cheap too!!
