Small hole by water pump

Hi, I have just become the proud owner of a 1997 FE400 which I intend to race in the evo class at vinduro events. I'm in the process of getting it set up but I've just noticed a small hole at the back of the water pump housing. It doesn't appear to be threaded so I'm not sure what it's all about. I'll try and get a picture uploaded but I'm a bit of a computer numpty. I would be very grateful if anyone had any information that could help. Thank you

it's a weep hole so you know when a seal goes bad, rather than mixing oil/coolant. there's coolant, a seal, an open area with that drain, a seal, oil.

if nothing is coming out of it, all is well.
