Revelstoke BC

Hey you West Coast guy's, any one been to Revelstoke to do any riding? Heading out for two or three weeks in July, and looking for info and camping, places to stay close to the trail, I have a Class A and will be towing a trailer so no transportation to get to the trail head. My bikes are plated for the road.

So went on the web site dualsportbc registered and did a search on Revelstoke, found nothing, and was not sent the register e mail so unable to post on the site,a read only deal.

Any one have any other leads on the Revelstoke area?

What is your user name on the site You must be approved before you can post
They do this so we do not get spammer as on this site This takes a while since it is a free site run by volunteers I will sent a message to one of the administrators and get you approved so you can post up

Got in touch with the Revy Riders found all I need, Thanks just the same.

Just to add, they have about 100 k of trail and endless logging roads. $10/day and memberships for $90. a year, trails by donations, Dry camping across from the Trail Head / Motocross track.

The area has shuttle buses, that will take you to any or all site seeing, hiking trails, beaches, and so on. No need to drive,or in our case no extra car.Sounds like this should be a great couple of weeks in the Mountains.

BC is a great place to ride. FWIW You do not need to pay any day pass fee or have any membership to ride the forest service road or on crown land. You are required to have a identifiable plate or sticker and limited liability insurance. It sounds like you have the covered already as you noted your machines are plated. Some clubs like to think they have exclusive access to forest service roads and areas but this is incorrect 100%. Some clubs maintain areas throughout BC ad work with the province to keep areas alive but with this said they do not own the land or have rights to it. Anyone has the right to use these areas as it is a provincial highway and or crown land.
So have a great trip and don't let anyone try and take your money unless you want to support their club or causes.
