I changed my rear break pads, but now when the breaks is getting warm the rear brake is blocking. Does anybody has a solution for me?

Do you mean the rear brakes are locking when they get warm??

Not knowing what year bike you have, what kind of riding you are doing, or how much time is on your bike I would suggest the following.

Take the rear caliper off of the carrier clean the entire assembly to remove any debris that might be stuck where the pads ride in the caliper. Clean and lubricate with high temp grease, the pins on which the caliper rides on the carrier so that it can slide freely.

Make sure that the retaining pin for the brake pads is not bent, and is free from nicks or gouges so that the pads can move freely on it.

Flush and Bleed the rear brake system.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick solution. it is an oldtimer
jimmy erickson replica FE501 from 1992 (nr 15 of the production line).
I will use the bike mainly in the street.

best regards
Jasper

If you have adjusted your brake lever in an attempt to minimize slack you have likely blocked the master cylinder compensating port.

If you simply installed new pads without removing the reservoir cap you are likely overfilled with fluid to the point that when said fluid expands heat generated from braking applies the brakes.

Hope this helps.

Please let us know what you find.

Sincerely,
Dale

Thanks a lot for the helpful advice, I also refilled it with new fluid.

I will clean the break this weekend and let you know the outcome.

I will join the flush and bleed bandwagon.

Do that first and come back if it still does not work proper.

The pins maybe causing the pads to catch and causing the brake pads not to release. Remove pins, those are what you removed to put new brake pads on, and clean until shiney. The front part may need cleaning as well plus some greasing so it moves smoothly. The pins and such can buildup a lot of crud. Hope this helps.

Thanks to all for helpful advice :D

Cleaning>>>>>>>>>>>>>> flushing and bleeding did the job.
