A mate of mine told me of a review he'd read of the powerblade, a type of bolt on venturi splitter, that increases the efficiency of the carb, but i cant find one for the dellorto, certainly not in the UK.Anyone else ever heard of these things, and more to the point, anyone used one or know how/where to get one from??

They are also called 'Power Now'.You will get smoother
lowend at the cost of a little off the top.Like putting a
bifurification plate in the collector of a four cyclinder
exhaust header.I think of them as a cheap fix for
not having the intake and exhaust systems matched
properly.Hopefully they dont cost much and are easy to
remove.Anyone remember the awfull 'Swarup' plates?

I don't think there is enough room to use one on Husabergs due to the carb mounting and air filter arangement. I have heard positive reports for the Power Now on KTM's.

I have enquired about the powerblade from the Australian Distributor and was told that there was not such a "line item".
If there was a minimum order of 20 or so then they would consider a run. They intimated that if it was done for the delorto that it would be a replacement for the belmouth that currently exist on the back of the carby. At the suggested cost x 20 i backed away pretty quick.

I do t-jet-tim! They were a joke! This is just another example of snake-oil medicine for your bike.

Save your money folks!
