So i got everything back together and got the last bolt started and bang snaps off in my new kick start shaft you motherF..... so now I have to remove that at some point and I think i should pry get a new kick starter I think the hub on mine is a bit tweeked I was still able to get the bike started after adjusting the valves and mechanical decompression arm kicks over pretty easy now :cheers: :cheers:
Still doesnt want to roll real good with the e-start but found out when I hit the button the voltage drops to 5volts. pretty sure the battery is done for or at least dead. Got the bike fired up none the less and man much quieter now. good thing I tore the cover off for that clutch cause the old timing chain and the guides were on their last leg no room left on the tensioner and it was pretty loose as well.
I just need to put the plastic back on bleed the new clutch swap out the handle bars (old ones were hacked and way short) and fix my kick starter
I also want to swap out the sprockets 15 42 is a bit much for off road will the sprockets off my 02 berg work for this bike? Its a fx470 :?:
