I've only got my two bikes atm, but you inmates must have something good in your garage?
Well, in addition to the Berg and the Zook, I also have a '99 Gary Fisher Marlin 26" hardtail mountain bike that I'm slowly "supermotoing". Love its stable handling character, it's more of a hands-free bike than most mountain bikes tend to be. A bit like the pre-70-deg 'Berg character. Have added semi-slicks, made the seating position more aggressive. Going to try to find front forks that are revalveable. Want to have it super stiff except for high-speed damping so it's good for fast cruising and efficient pedaling and then also for smashing over curbs and obstacles.
And then I sometimes borrow my dad's modified Mitsubishi Pajero. 38" mud tires, lightly tweaked 2.8L turbodiesel. Fatter pipe and chip I think it's got. Surprisingly peppy for such a big car! Very nice for cruising around the country. It'll go on actual glaciers - just deflate the tires a bit and it floats on the snow. Thought you guys might like it ... pics below.
(This is considered a "normal car" over here and seen as rather conservatively modified. 44" tires are starting to be considered serious. And are still seen "downtown" from time to time!)
