can anyone tell me what operating temp a 2005 fe450e would normally operate at at a steady pace,,,,,?
and what temperature is to high that i should shut down?

just got some temp strips for it
 
i believe it's 65-70 degreees celcius.

someone else confirm please?

I do not know what the official temperature is but my quad runs around 180 F when it is very hot outside never has went over.
 
On my 00 501 I see 175 F -185F on both the alternator and clutch side covers in the California desert with a 90-100 degree F outside air temp. This is for single track and 50-60 mph sand riding. Never a drop of boil over...
