Oil filter and oil

Hi,

Having just bought a 2004 FE501, I'm keen to do an oil change for piece of mind, but I'm struggling to find the right part for the oil filter, and what the grade of oil should be/qty. Any hints on models that share the same filter or a part number would be great, along with what you guys recommend for oil when you're doing a change would be really appreciated!

The Scotts stainless oil filter is a good investment .
They have the right filter to fit most Husabergs.

As for oil, there are many opinions.
I prefer to (waste money) on the liquid gold.
That is, Motorex Power Syn 4T 10w50.
As from the factory recommended.
And I change it every 5 hours or so.
And thats the way it will continue to be...
