G'day i just picked up my 2008 FS650e. I had bark busters fitted and i have axle sliders getting sent to me next week. It also has some billet on it which gives it some bling factor. This is my first big bore single so i stuffed around with the idle screw thinking it was the choke. Now it doesn't idle at all. i will take it back to the dealer next week to sort it.

Wellcome aboard. Idle screw should be easy to sort according to your manual. If you haven't got one then download one. I think there are links here or google them. Good luck.

Yeah, welcome to the site. And adjust it yourself! get the bike warm. Wind it all the way in, then a full turn out and start from there. it should settle down to a nice even beat. that is presuming it was ok when you got it! if not you will need to find the mixture and do it as it says in the doc!

Welcome Mongtard. I'm new to 'Bergs as well and loving. Sure you will love yours. Have you taken it up Nebo/Gloriuos yet? The tight section the other side of Nebo would be a nice place to play on it. Nice bike BTW. Good luck with it.

Thanks for that. i haven't really had a chance tp get up the Mountain yet, it won't stop raining. I have the idle screw fixed now. I was having trouble kick starting it but i have sorted that now as well.

Is that your bike in your Avatar? that was for sale in Sydney wasn't it? I like the blue rims. There isn't many Bergs out there for sale, thats why i bought new. I was after an 07 or 06 model.
