There is a guy from Greece on here called Takis he has a good mechanic. I suggest you send him a Private Message he may be able to help you.

welcome dirty01 - a cool name by the way.

tappets
fresh plug
no choke

but the list of why could be endless so try these
carb worn and needs new atomiser and needle as well as cleaning out
most likely - the stator. these break down inside.
knackered chain would be a major part of it.

old fuel?

I have contacted BERGROADRACER ( He is Takis) for you hopefully he can point you in the right direction.

faktor, takis will have good contacts but he isn't going to get his own hands dirty or know anything about a 2000. apparently he fell over in the school playground once so it's not true to say that he's never got his hands dirty!

i change last month the stator, clean the carb, change the decomprasionspring, change spark plug and plug and i make a big service that is why i want this help

tow startit with the car to get it going. also - is the plug wet after you have tried all these things?

then try pouring a thimble of fuel through the plug hole. for maybe only one kick your bike will try to start. if this happens, pour a little into the bottom of the sock. these two places may get the bike running

remove the choke jet again and make sure you can see through it. also check that the little 'underpass' in the floatbowl is clear of debris otherwise fuel can't get through here. also, try and change the 'O' ring on the choke sometime.

lastly, the choke wants only slightly to be open and for you - a beginner with the totally on or totally off system this is impossible. but your first job is to get a sign of petrol on the plug and to smell it around the engine.

Dirty

Dirty,
It seems logical to start the bike with the choke on, but mine will not start with the choke on. I turn on choke, kick it 5 or six times, pump throttle a couple times, then turn off choke, kick it all the way through, and it will start...You have to play with the throttle a little to keep it going cold, but it will not start with the choke on....
of course, you could have another problem, but if not, this works for me....
