all i do is twist throttle twice,,,with manual decomp pulled in i turn motor over three or 4 times and find just over compression and kick,,,,always starts 2nd kick like that Cold with no choke,,,
for hot start i turn motor over a few times 1 twist of throttle and find judt over compression and kick,,will start 1st time warm.
