I have heard some talk here about mixing fork springs.
For example mixing a 48 fork spring with a 44 to get 46.
In fact I have 2 FE 650s. One with 44s and one with 48s.
Just picked up the one with 48s and their stiff. Im 195lbs without gear and I like my 44s
I would probably like the 46s also.
So question is. How would you go about setting up your clickers? Do you still set them the same and adjust them
to the same settings even though they would act differently ? Does it matter?
I'm thinking you could get a desired result regardless. But not sure. It just seems kind of strange.
Any insight would be appreciated.

No worries. Just set them like you normally would. I was trying a .46 and .48. Didn't like it so I went down to .46's Still wouldn't turn right(570 with .44 stock). Ended up with a .46 on one side and a 40/48 progressive on the other. Added a click or two rebound was all.

Thanks tahoeacr,
I don't know yet if I will try that. Right now i'm going through the clickers and have tested 20 out on compression
Will test 22 out next ride. I'm starting to run out of options there.
I will remove the forks also soon and turn them upside down to drain 20 ml out of the air bleed hole.
A Table spoon is about 15 ml and a teaspoon is about 5ml.
The forks as they are still have about 50mm before bottoming. I would like to get it under 25mm
