a 501 has a 95 bore and 70 stroke
an old 400 like mine has a 92 bore and 60 stroke
a modern 450 has a 100 bore and a 57 stroke
to make the 380 they kept the 450 bottom end ( the 57 stroke) and put my OLD 400 piston on it (the 92 bore). so you neither have the right bore or stroke. it's just not worth it mate!
can anyone please tell me who can supply me as well as give me an idea of price including shipping to Johannesburg South Africa for a 380 kit for my 2004 450.
