Just got an email from them (after 10 months). Some really cool stuff being auctioned off,, original big bore kits etc. Only problem is they won't ship it. :(

Anyone willing to ship some stuff to Canada for me?

yeah, i even contacted my friends in England. I guess Andover is the Orlando of the UK. A bit isolated and a hike for my london friends.

Could we maybe ask JBS Racing to offer some stuff to the people of this forum......?

I shot him a line mentioning the board. And in the ad it says he will drop at "Parcels to go" and gives you instructions on the shipping. You have to go to the Parcels site to determine shipping but he gives you all the info. As yet, however, no response on my push to pop on the Board

If a few of you guys are thinking of ordering i could do a run up from here and sort out the shipping......as long as the costs are covered and you don't want that lathe!!

I don't need anything from that sale, but that is a very gracious offer Carl!!

Is that a good deal on the valves, assuming ~$20-30 shipping? Turned 170 hours so probably gonna need some work soon!

Anyone want to split the cost of the engine? All I want is the main bearings and liners for my new build.

whoever got the 790 kit with 3 liners 3 pistons, mains and cases got a good deal .. it went for $520 LOL

Yeah, most of the big bore kits went cheap. I was looking at the oil pump and the water pump. The oil pump went for 349.00 GBP which is 631.90 AU plus another $40 for shipping. Even got up at 5am to bid, but I couldn't justify the expense. Besides I'm sure Bushie will come up with a cheaper alternative.

Maybe they should reconsider going back into production on some parts to fund the new motor. Which looks like it might fit in a Husaberg frame. Mmmm 1,000 cc enduro bike.

$670 for an oil pump that might not fit ? WTF

I was a bit tempted to get another 105mm kit but i still got enough spare bits laying around LOL

the big M1 engine is very heavy .. i would use the folan 1150 twin instead .. its about the same weight

they went with a single I believe so as to avoid being knobbled by any rule changes .. its a bit hard to specify less than 1 cylinder

what we really need for a berg engine is a 600cc engine that revs to 12000rpm lasts 100 000km and weighs 25kgs :D
