I have external preload adjusters on the forks. Standard om the SM-models

I'd like to see a SM-racing model. A FS700R with lots of goodies like Carbonfiber, Marchesini wheels, a twin akra exhast and so on.

Good ideas all these but how the factory will be sell the option parts ? i heard the ktm wants to sell husaberg in the polaris company.will see soon

if ktm sells husaberg to polaris , and i mean 'if '. would that be a good thing , or a bad thing ? .

It depends.if R&D stays in swedish like now everything will be all right.if goes to USA will be comfused a lot.the polaris target will be the huge market of USA.I believe polaris will give priority to the durability for catch the japanese sells.will see it.

Dunno they are getting pretty dam perfect.

It took ktm a few years to get the 525 exc right. I think things are looking up for Berg.

Ooh something else.send me a nice animal like yours in your photo please.i want to use when my daugther does not eat her food. ha ha ha

Why would KTM build a BRAND NEW factory, next door to the KTM factory, no less, and then sell Husaberg to Polaris?

I highly doubt this will happen.

The cost for change all these will be huge.the engine is on limits.the crankshaft bearings will be fly from the engine with these demands i believe.

What I want from a new Husaberg: to be innovative again!! They were the first to introduce a powerfull leightweight 4s but time has moved on and so has the competition. The newer engine is based on the old and hasn't changed that much but refinements and adjusments (which as such isn't bad but still!!) I read somewhere that Husaberg was the R&D in practice for KTM. But how come Husaberg gets the new parts much later then KTM, like carb and ignition for example.
I would like to see:
- a right hand kickstart, because this has become standard over the years. I heard R&D had one ready but weren't allowed to put it on the market.
- an MX-bike with DOHC
- enduro bike with injection.
- maybe something like compose your own bike with choice of special parts direct from the factory. Like rims-colors, bars-bends/shapes etc. Will cost a bit more but no one offers this
- Joel Smets racing a Husaberg in his final year :D (and kick ***!!)

Now what I heard:
- new chassis, maybe aluminium but expected steel. Shaped like the steel Kawasaki types.
- indeed injection to meet new emission standards.
- injection will be put on the current engine
- new engine in 2008
- still no 250f ( I guess to let KTM earn their investment first as usual)
- KTM gets new engines, completely different then what they now have.
- KTM also gets a new chassis.

How good would that be !! Imagine if you could choose suspension springs and tyre types prior to purchase instead of removing them after buying one and fitting the ones you need.
Imagine a steering damper as optional equipment........
Or the option of a desert/enduro/motard fuel tank with relevant capacities to pick from..........
Or........

what about twin radiators , i don't know the cost of the single one but it would not be cheap .
