Looking at pics of the # 104 rider makes me laugh. Most NA riders don't get out of bed when they see conditions like that outside. Although I'm not saying I'm that far from the pillow myself. But after seeing pics like this, its no wonder that the Scandinavians excell when the going gets rough and ugly.

It still shakes me to see results of guys racing for over two hrs and the differential between first and second is only 9 seconds!!!!! WOW

I'm assuming that Ljunggren may be the new kid on the block. Bjorne has been solid rider, winning the 400WEC in 2000, I think, but hasn,t been able to pull any rabbits out of the hat since. Still, I wouldn't mind having any speed he might have lost or too spare.

From Jocke_D's quick translation service:

"Hammarbypokalen (The Hammarby trophy) was the first of six events in this years SWE champs. Västerås was hosting. Up front there was a strong starting line with Mats Nilsson, Peter Bergvall (ex WC) and the junior comrades Joakim Ljunggren and Patrik Wiksell.

This there are two classes instead of three like this years WC. Enduro1: 125cc 2stroke/250cc 4stroke and Enduro2/3: The rest."

Yadda yadda yadda..... and so on.

"Fastest today was Jocke Ljunggren with 2.03.15 followed by Björne Carlsson only 9 secs behind. MAts Nilsson won Enduro1 and coming in a total third with 2.03.57."

After that theres a lot info only interesting for the TibroMK guys and their members/riders.

Jocke L is a new member of the Husaberg Team Sweden for 2005. I'm not that in to Enduro but I try to keep up and he's probably the most promising young rider (think he's only 19 years old). Björne is, as someone already mentioned, true to his 'berg upbringing.
I work in the same town (village) as Jocke L's father has his Honda/KTcoughcoughM-shop and when I spoke to him last time Jockes main goal this year is to bring home the Junior WC to Sweden and Husaberg :D

Thank you kindly for your translation, sir :)

No sweat. Just glad if I can help some of you illiterates ( ) in the US.

In Sweden we get a newsletter from David (mentioned above) at Husaberg Scandinavia once in a while and the same info was a part of that newsletter.
In my gallery you can find a pic of Jocke & Björne after the race...
In the newsletter was also a new race clutch for SM use. See my gallery for pic. The price is 8522SEK which is roughly 1200-1250$ US. Looks neat.
The newsletter also said that the Italian Mario Rinaldi is joining the FORCE 2005. Mario Rinaldi <--- Link

Hi Jocke!

Do you know where I can sign up for the newsletter? Can't find it anywhere @ Husaberg.se?
