Ok this is on the lighter side so you dont have to take me seriously.

Can we get someone to open up the Husaberg plant in Sweden. And get the Husaberg name from Ktm if you have too.
The new line up should be the 70* enduros in 390,450 and 570. With at least a Motard in 570.
Also in the line up would be 08 bikes brought back with various upgrades including FI. Chassis and motor configuration remains the same.
We should have in enduro the 450, 550,628 and the 700. All would have the motard option.

I have often thought of the exact same thing except that the Chinese company Zongshen (sounds Kinda like Johnson in Chinese) should produce them. That way they would only cost about 40% of what they originally sold for and more people could afford them. They should also produce replacement parts dating back to 89. I am sure a few kicked to the curb Husaberg employees would jump at the chance to help resurrect a facsimile of the marque.

We would need to come up with a good name for the newly launched brand. Something that sounds like Husaberg with an Asian accent.

Look at the motor that goes into the AJP's (its from China). Looks a little 08 Husabergish to me.

Yes it does look similar.
And for a new name. I would go with Husenberg.
Several of my friends have mispronounced it this way. I think it sounds kinda cool.

Chusaberg Slant 70

The Chinese bikes have such a bad reputation

They have infiltrated my industry Kitchen Cabinetry some of it is great for the price point

Adding to this lighter side...about Husaberg history..

By 2004 it became obvious that Husaberg had it together. And very well at that.
The steeper head angle that year, better ignition..
Then in 2005 with the "little to no fault bike" pork chop crank,.. the 628, 17mm FS triples, cush hub,
2006 black frame, stiffer FE fork springs, cool graphics haha,
And in 2007 the 550 beefed up crank, suspension changes with the 5mm longer forks,
billet triple clamps,
It was about then that KTM had had enough. They may have said , these Husabergs have just become too good, and they are making us look bad. Especially with the 550 and 650 with all that power. And the great handling. And we don't want to keep hearing that famous saying "When it gets rough, rutted and ugly, the BERG IS KING !
That's it . We will only make these bikes 1 more year. And make sure you fiddle with the jetting or something so they are RED STICKER in California.

And then someone may have said as an excuse...
We want you guys to get make this motor and chassis completely different. Because for 1, we are tired of not being able to swap rear directional tires.because of the sprocket on the other side.
So flip that motor upside down and backwards. Just whatever it takes to put the sprocket on the left. And another thing. No more 628s. We dont need that much power anymore.
But look on the bright side. It will be fuel injected.
So when the bike came out it worked very well.
And Ktm must have said. We really didnt expect it to be so good. We must surely end this brand for good. Give us a few years.

aaaaahhh Pollo you're making me miss my 08 FE450! Oh the mistake I made selling that bike. However...I have both the "boys" loaded on my trailer (FE 450 and FE250) heading to a week long off road rally
