Dale I hope your getting commision from Scotts!

I've been a customer there for almost 20 years, and they treat me very well. So the least I can do is help them out whenever I can. And, they make good products that are top notch.

I'll vouch for Dale's recommendation of Scott's service. I've received stuff here in the bush in Oz from them in less than a week. Impressive... And emails along the way to let you know how its progressing. Recommended.

Personally I.m not a fan of reusable oil filters as I reckon you end up flushing stuff through them as you clean them, and the cost of things like aerosol brake/contact cleaner negate the cost of a new paper filter. I also have a cheap ebay ultrasonic cleaner which is good, but you still need a solvent. Just my 2 cents

I don't want to sound like a hippie or anything but there is also the environmental damages associated with disposable oil filters. Even if it doesn't save money I like the idea of helping the environment. Otherwise eventually there won't be any grass to tear up with all that horsepower!

Also the Polaris Quads with the KTM engines have the same filter so if you want the Stainless filter quicker see your local dealer about it make sure it is the tall filter.

Why u guys change oil after 6-7 hours or like someone says 3-4 hours and filter with every oil change?
Manual says oil after 10 hours or more frequently depending on use,and filter every second oil change (only the small must be cleand every time). :?
I use Motorex 10W40 semisyntchtic and change it every 10 hours (it looks dirty even after 1 hour ride )filter here in Poland costs 4,5 Euro

I do a paper filter every 2-3 oil changes, i dont rev the head out of the motor and just dont see the piont of changing earlier.

For those of you using the stainless filters.

How are your cleaning them? What are you using?

Thanks,

i just toss it in the parts cleaner, quick shake and inspect then dry with compressed air.
