I just did a ride on my 2011 FE570S (13/42) and I did just over 75 miles and the reserve light never came on. That was mostly open terrain and 50/50 road / dirt so mostly in 3-6 gears. I was happy to see that many miles on a tank but that was what I'd call best case scenario as far as mileage...easy riding at speed. In tighter stuff I'd bet 75 miles would be to empty. It all depends but IMHO this is not enough mileage to consider a Dual Sport. I'm going for the 70 degree tank...then I'm going to expect 100 miles minimum...that is enough to get from one fueling station to the next in most parts around here in Northern California.
