how do i access the stator?

got the tank off, found somewhere where i could get some numbers from my multimeter.

i got:

black/red - 1085
black/green - 18
 
its relatively simple. just remove the wires from the connectors under the tank, remove anything holding the wire harness, remove the clamp and push the rubber grommet (yellow arrow) into the case. pull the wire thru as well. voila!
