Hello all, thanks to Zen for the welcome message, I own a 2001 FE400, bought in 2010. I used it for green lanes but have left it in the garage for 2 years. Now i'm getting it back on the road again. It use to start ok but now it's proving difficult so I've spent the day servicing it. It had a poor spark and good fuel, now it's got a good spark and no fuel, so i'll have to strip the carb again. That will keep me busy tomorrow. Bye for now.

possibly our strangest new member for a while. makes me wonder how you avoided us all this time! bikes are no good stood up so get it out there and ride! there is just so much you can do to these to upgrade them. it'll end up like Paddy's shovel!

Thanks Taffy, it took me a week to get back to it ( life gets in the way sometimes ),I messed up the float height, but all is good now and starts on a couple of kicks. Just an MOT needed and it's back to the green lanes in time for the interesting weather.
