if thats all you've gotta say then i don't know why you're allowed on here? out and out selling is in bad taste and should be given a yellow card IMHO.

Dealers and vendors are welcome to hawk their wares in this forum. This is not to be used as a classifieds system for private sellers. Please use our classifieds system for that.

so if i read you right ken, a dealer can hawk his stuff willy nilly but the actual real people, the owners, would be held up in disgrace and have their testicles removed only to have them displayed in the "private parts" section?
did i get that right - i do get confused sometimes....

The V & S forum was created with the intention of giving dealers and vendors a place to offer products and services that did not fit in the classifieds section but was not allowed in the general population of the forum. They were getting shut down when posting "New MY bikes are in now!" but at the same time, it wasn't really applicable to the classifieds(For sale, many bikes, no miles, motivated seller!).
If a vendor posts that they have numerous bikes for sale with little detail, this is the place to do it. If they want better exposure, it would probably make more sense to use the classifieds.

Boys, boys, boys.... can't we all just get along ? I must stick up for Taffy here, he has given more "free" help here than just about anyone. I feel that he just doesn't want to see this site become a place where bikes and parts are hawked. The ultimate most important thing is that we are all Husaberg enthusiasts. If you are a vendor and wish to profer your wares, then support this site ! Interesting that the two top vendor donors are Bike Barn and BOSS and you rarely see them "selling" on site. Rick, Kurt, and yes Taffy too have been invalueable to me personally and have increased my knowledge and enjoyment of riding the best offroad bike in the world (Buzzard is a damn fine guy too) In turn I have shared with others my lessons learned. If you don't like Taffy, DON"T READ HIS POSTS !

Ron, your right Taffy has helped many with his info, including me, hours spent trawling through the "owners docs" have saved much time and also pointed out mistakes made ...........but does this make him more equal than any other member? As you say we're all just Berg enthusiasts. As for not reading his posts, its pretty hard when he replies to so many, generally offering advice sometimes as in this case not!

What i think is wrong/double standards, is when you slate someone for stating a few bikes they have available (in the vendors area) when a few days later you ask for details on new 09 bikes available and then shortly after your detailing the price, availability and lead in times of your "Ti Valves".
If another member happens to be looking for an 09 bike then what is more useful your 8000 plus posts on a myriad of useful info or this post on 09 bikes for sale?
To calll this post "in bad taste" is out of order unless you have never sold anything through this site.
