The fuel injector on my 2011 FE 570 failed this weekend on the first day of a 4 day ride in Beg Bend. I had ridden about 70 miles and suddenly the bike started popping and sputtering. I pulled over and put gas in it as it was acting like it was out of gas. It started up and as soon as I tried to accelerate, it did the same thing.

Long story short, I pulled the injector and did a voltage test on it and there was no resistance. I checked the resistance on one of my buddies FE 570 clogged injectors and it showed 10.1 ohms resistance. Has any one else had an injector fail this way or know what could cause it??

I have had the same issue on my 09, don't know if it was dirty or fouled as you describe. I've added an additional fuel filter before the injector similar to the can am, (don't know the micron size.,

I feel that when working on these bikes using the factory fuel line disconnect introduces dirt into the injector. Adding an additional filter at this point and only removing the pre filter side to remove the tank is the only way to solve this.

I installed a new injector and she turn back into the monster she was created to be.

My problem is not a clogged injector. The item within the injector that causes the injector to pulse fuel is no longer working. This is not the same as a clogged injector.
