Hi!

I'm planning to do a complete rebuild of my FS650e that needs a big amount of TLC...
I want to keep an original look as far as possible, but I don't like the 2003 decals. Is the 2005 plastic and decals the newest who fits my bike? Is the picture attached correct layout for a 2005 mod? Where is the easiest place to get the correct P/Ns (and order the parts)?

I've got this link to a parts catalogue, but the decals doesn't seem right and the color of the seat is not correct...

the shroud decals are showing as still available. The smaller decals are likely still available in one form or another because they did them for the FS, FE and FC and all look similar (well, the same actually!).

The blue seat Material you can't get anymore. I have one or two seats here with that material and they all wear at the bottom of the 'V'.

I may be able to get them made by Blackbird? that is an idea!

as for the rest of your engine, the 2003 (you don't really say?) I have all the spares for them. the factory still make many of the spares but I cross refertence all the numbers.

If looking for the last of the 'H Numbers' you will look for a long time!

If you have an actual 2003 then you have a yellow seat with a black stripe that flows from the shroud graphics.

You are correct that the 2005 decals are the newest graphics that will fit your bike.

The catalog link you have provided is for the "Force Edition". This was a limited production late 2004 model which contained all of the parts listed in your link. The seat was black and all of the graphics were black.

The bike you have pictured above is the standard 2005 model colours (well at least here in AUS anyway). This is exactly the colour scheme on my bike new (FE650E).
As it was to be trail ridden, I wanted a cooling fan, so I planned to swap out the 2005 tank for a 2006 which has the different shape and different shrouds. As I am also not a big fan of yellow (ok thats entirely personal preference) I went all black using an FS black tank, seat and all other plastics.
Taffy has some of these parts available as do Race-Styles.
Just a heads up the rear guards I am finding very difficult to get, then probably the original black tank.
Anyway best of luck with the reno just thought I'd toss in some options.
