Just wanted to start a seperate thread for those who are renting cabins. This way you can all keep in touch about who's renting and maybe sharing rooms. You won't have to go through all the posts in the main FORCE RIDE thread.

I have a 4 person cabin reserved for Mar 3-6 and have me and maybe one other coming with. Taffy sounded interested in sharing. If so let me know Taffy and thats cool with me that still leavs one more space

I'll take that space. What day will you be arriving? If the ride starts on the third, I was planning on arriving on the 2nd.

Ok with you and Taffy I'm full. I plan on arriving on the second also but didn't know how late and thought about a hotel. It's about 15 hours from here so I figgured it will be late. As it gets closer we can decide if we want to go for the second at the campground or not. If you get there early then we can do that or the hotel and meet in the A.M.
I got my card today from the campground and the bill is $41 per night thats CHEAP at $10 / head /night. Money left for steaks and BEER.

I'm 2 days from there and will easily arrive on the second(weather permitting). As long as 70 stays open across Colorado I'll be ther on the second ready to ride at first light. Is there anything you need from me or want me to bring along?

Has anyone else mentioned the Husaberg group when talking to Slick Rock? They told me they had no reservations from us. If risky1 wants to be with us, let's see if the camp ground can give us 2 cabins next to one another. I'll try to call them in the morning.

I called this morning and left a message, called 2 other times to get an answer machine, never got a call back.

Will try again this weekend.

Kraig- I did my reservations online and told them in the comments box that I was with the husaberg gathering. Did not have good luck talking to an actual person on the phone but they did respond to Email. I got my confirmation card in the mail the other day and made the reservation about ten days ago. At the bottom of the card it says Husaberg gathering group. Remember it is probably snowing there now and the camp ground hosts are probably running their business from Mexico if they are smart.

BKSAVS- I don't know what they have at the cabins and I don't know how far from food they are but if it's close I may opt for restaurant meals part of the time cause I'm LAZY and hate to do dishes. And if we ride as long as I hope every day then I will be too beat to do much cooking. I hope to get some GPS tracklogs for the area between now and then.So I'll be bringing firewood and grilling implements and a dutch oven and a plate or two along with a BIG icechest...remember we are going to UTAH and I'm not sure if you can get real beer or not and since I'm particular I'll be bringing my own stock

I'll try to save one bottle of New York State wine....I'll probably stop in Colorado and get some Breckinridge Avalanche(and awesome amber ale). As far as food goes, I'm very flexable. If there is a microwave in the cabin I'll be set. Ofcourse I'm always ready for dead animal over flame. I'll be sure to bring some hot sauce(the universal spice). I've got a big charcoal grill, if the camp ground will allow us to use it.

I just requested a Cabin reservation for 2-4 people. My wife and I plan to arrive early evening on the 3rd and leave early morning on the 6th. Depending on the availability of cabins, we will have room for 1 or 2 others.

Should know when we receive our confirmation.

I did an online cabin reservation for March 3,4,5 and 6 referencing the "Husaberg gathering group". Also asked that the cabins be placed within proximity of each other. I'll post as soon as I receive a response

I spoke with her also. She said that they would have beer, charcoal, and other stuff like that on site. There is a BBQ place just outside the campground, and a general store about 2 minutes away. I was told that there are a few micro-breweries in the area. Jamie said we could put a Charcoal grill outside the cabins so I'll bring mine along(lots of room on the trailer). The cabins don't have mocrowaves and electrical outlets might be kinda scarce.

I have a gas BBQ that hoks to the trailer, I have a small weber smokey joe and bring another. MICRO BREWS!!! the hell with cooking :eek:ccasion5:

I received my reservation confirmation for a cabin by e-mail :D . That was quick! Does anyone know if they have some sort of stove to cook on?

All sleeping cabins feature:
Linen for beds
Lights and Power Outlets
Private Picnic Table and Grill
Air Conditioning and Heat

Hope this helps, they also allow camp fires in their fire rings.

Hey Everyone,

Got an e-mail response today for a cabin. I've offered to let Dan & Ann (MotoXotica) stay there as well. Dan won't know if he can make it until after the first of the year.

Would like to hook-up with anyone else on the drive to and from if possible.
My reservations dates requested are the 3rd through the 6th.

Look forward to meeting everyone,
Mike
