It's 10 months and counting to Force Ride 3.

Lets get some excitement started here by having a design contest for the event t-shirt. possibly decals as well.

I will be happy to print the shirts for the cost of materials.

I know we must have a few artist as members who can create something appropriate for an event of this magnitude. Requirements would be that the image be available in an EPS format.

Lets have a must be in date of Jan 30th and a final vote on Feb 21st.

Sound reasonable to everyone?

You, americans, you are get mad with these wings!They are at almost all of american logo! Try to invent something more european, which is more swedish... Maybe something what use moose :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:

I love the wings ! If it wasn't for "you" Americans you'd all be speaking German . Are there moose in Sweden ? Maybe you could put some reindeer antlers on the shirts, Bobzilla.

front left breast of the shirts should be the 'unofficial' logo thats above, then whichever design is chosen can go on the back along with any sponsors.

That's a fantastic start!!

My two cents worth........... Just gonna throw some idea's out there.

On the banner that says Gunnison on one side, and Colorado on the other, how about a blue back ground with Gunnison and Colorado written in yellow.

On the tips of the banner, on the left side a swedish flag, and on the right side an american flag. Could we maybe add a strip of all the flags of all countries where eveyone is coming from across the bottom of the banner?

Can we make the riders helmet yellow and blue?

How about two bikes, facing each other, one of the 2000-2008 generation bike, and other a rendition of the 2009? or will that be too busy?

What about putting the HUSABERG.ORG on top, and then put FORCE RIDE #3 underneath it?

Maybe on the back we could have the three force rides listed and where they were at? Or do we want to have this be the back, and just have like HUSABERG.ORG FORCE RIDE #3 on the front above the breast pocket or where the breast pocket would normally be?

What do you think fella's?
 
i think we can do better than a honda with r/h kickstart and a pair of wings?

I like all of your suggestions. I will work on modifying this design amd maybe create another one as well.

Does anyone out there have a couple of great quality photos of the early model Berg's?

Maybe I can fit a moose in there somewhere as well.

first off how about taking the gunnison city flag. and swapping out the 'Progress with purpose' to 'UHE Force Ride 2009' then change the gold to UHE yellow and the dark blue to our shade.

'HUSABER' in yellow could also be added infront of the 'G' thats already there.

this would make it easier to print up as well

that can then be the logo on the front of the shirt.

heres another idea.

what the writing in black says is;

"the writing at the bottom would be made to mirror the uhe logo with the G and N slanting upwards. the colors and font would also be matched"

obvioulsy is just an explanation note and wouldn't be part of the design

it's unfair to call krisbumm english! with spelling like that i want him to be a swede fluent in 9 languages (for god's sake please) we didn't really turn him out like that did we?

anyway, to signify our swedish heritage for the educated american i suggest we get in there and go straight for the jugular - saab 99 turbo leaping over a volvo 245 estate!

and then on the back we can have "HUH!" so that we get the answer in before they can move their lips!

that could be fun!

you walk up to a complete stranger and they ask who the phuck are you! and we show em our T-shirts and the game is to turn around before they say it!

brilliant!

Guys,
I have one of the new "Direct to Garment" printers (big $$$) and I can print just about anything you come up with using that machine as long as it is done on a light colored shirt, like white, yellow, grey etc. It will not print on dark colors as it does not use white ink.

Dark colors would require regular screen printing due do the need for a white base coat.

Cypher, I like what you have come up with. I would need the Husaberg logo in a vectored or EPS format to allow sizing without distortion.
