I recently bought 2010 FE 390. I have a street bike, but this is my first off road bike. I like to keep my bikes in best possible shape. So...
Some nut inserts that hold the fairing on the tank / airbox are missing. Some of them are stripped. Currently the fairings are attached with only 2 bolts on each side, instead of 4 that they are supposed to be. How do I fix them?
Some search returned rivnut or rivet nut that some people have used. Is that a correct fix. Looks like rivnuts are great for sheet metal panels, but I'm not sure about putting them on plastic tank. What did you use?
