Well, I guess it's fairly obvious this is a Husaberg but I gotta say, I haven't seen spooge like this since I was a kid helping my dad in the hay field with his 1940's IH Farmall tractor.
Come to find out this is Cheeseberger's secret to longevity. Never, and I do mean never clean the Berg on the outside, however, very frequent oil changes have helped his 04 550 reach a mere 9,500 miles.

BTW, Colby Cheese demonstrated numerous times that his Berg is indeed a tractor in it's own right!

Cheese is bewildered that I suggest he may have a slight oil leak.

LOG was kind enough to leave me with a new left glove and even a right one. Ran into HAIR aka Tim from Los Alamos NM, and he also has a Husaberg farm tractor with some great oil leaks. Hair rode his 04 650 from Los Alamos NM to Lake City Co to partake in the AdventureRider.com annual WESTFEST. He will ride it all the way back too. He put an oil cooler of an XR400 on it.

and here we all are getting worried about a tiny little spec of dust or oil in the wrong place. Well done on the torture test guys, keep it up

He may change the oil frequently, but it doesn't look like the filter has been changed in a couple thousand miles by the look of the birds nest on the cover. I love it! Jimmy Lewis and his 06 650 have nothin on that 04 with 9500 miles and 1/4" of grime and muck on the engine. This is the best thing I've seen on the site all year...no offense intended taffy, just an opinion.

Heya Dudes and Dudettes
Cleaning supplies cost money and aren't environmentally friendly. The Sierra Club might not renew my membership if I use such products.

You need this.

Husabutt; I knew you'd say that. I've seen pics of your ride.

Cheeseberger; good on ya. Used and abused.....it's the way it's meant to be.

When did you last change the oil tho'?

I change my oil every 1-3 rides, filter about every 700 miles and change the air filter often and rarely WASH my bike, there is no time, Iam always on it :D :D :D :D :D
