I went to college at Western Michigan University located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The nickname for Kalamazoo is kzoo... In a bout of zero creativity I picked kzoo.

Yeaaaaa..

So "ahoolsema" is actually quite simple, really. My name is Aaron Hoolsema, so POW! "ahoolsema" was born. Plus I come from a rather large family of Hoolsemas and to be "a" Hoolsema is a source of honour and pride. The name is Dutch, my grandfather emmigrated to Canada after WWII. Supposedly Hoolsema's came from Northern Holland, an area called Groningen and we were a fierce bunch of bullies.

Anyways, after I joined the UHE I thought up the nik "strongleftleg" and have been using it on any other site I join. I haven't figured out how to change it here though.

don't think you can change it when you take it. you're stuck with it! BTW you "emmigrated" to canada and it's groningen!

groningen is home to the the dutch TT only the best GP of the year!

nice one.

My 1st car was an Arkley ss - built it in my Dads back garden on the body of an MG Midget and looks like a squashed up Morgan. Great fun when you're 17. Drove it to death around europe & Greece then swapped it for an Austin Gypsy (fore runner to landrover) great fun in London.

Flagman...I've been a flag marshall at car and motorcycle racing events here in Canada and in the U.S. since 1987. Seen a lot of good races, lots of mayhem and destruction too. All at very close range I must say. I've been more recently working in race control at our local F1 and Champ Car events. I flagged a motocross event only once, in Toronto at the SkyDome for the World SX event in 2005. Not so many outings this year though, what with a new baby and a new Berg at home!

Thanks Uncle Taff! I edited my post to conform to your corrections. Hope you approve of my second effort. :D
