quick guys auction ends in like an hour anyone know if the 99 FE can will fit 98 FC both 501's

what do you mean missing on mounting breacket will i haeo fab somthing or will it stay on with out worries

All pre 2001 "Non E Start" engines will fit any pre 2001 chassis. (with a little work)

All pre 2001 "E Start" engines require an "E Start chassis" or more serious modifications.

The "E" Start Chassis is different then that of the non "E" start.
If you are looking to fit an "E" Start engine into a non E start chassis you have some cutting and welding ahead of you.

If you are purchasing an "E" start engine for parts most items interchange with that of the non "E" start engine less main cases and crankshaft assembly.

no engine parts only putting a FE exhaust can on to a FC header set and what about using a universal harnger

Sorry mberg,
From your "PM" I was under the impression you were interested in swapping engines.

You have many options using the stock cannister and modified internals.

Personally,
I gut the cannisters and build my own muffler using SS mesh tubing wrapped in high quality sound packing. I cap it off with a screen style spark arrestor (such as the pellet of a sparky).

PM Enforcer4 and / or Husabomber as they both have such systems.

I have been extremely happy with my exhaust setup. I Enjoy the exhaust note as well. Without a doubt better than before it was modified

Workmanship and quality are exactly what one would expect from Dale "Top Notch"
