Hey folks, just thought to share this good information. My daughter wasn't able to get into nursing in any Canadian university. 93 was required average mark! So we tried and she got into medical school in Poland. This is 7th person in my extended family that got university education in Poland and all now are working in Canada. Dentists x3, physio x4, doctor x1 plus my daughter going for a doc. It is easier to get in to university there and cost is about 1/3 of study in Canada or Us. You have many choices of government run universities many of them have international cooperation with many programs in US , Canada and west European countries. Studying is in English. 6 years of med school tuition is 119.000 Canadian. Food and rent is also cheap.

Good to know. Not for Me but I have a lot and I mean a lot of relatives. Thanks

Actually there is another family friend from US Monika in her last year of med program. My cousin Zbigniew started it all a dentist. His son Adrian also in last year of med program. Adrian girlfriend either Canadian or American also in 4th year of med program. Meghan another cousins daughter just completed and said that in her class only one Arab failed the course. Everybody from North America completed the program. All these people studied at Wroclaw med university. Now another cousin son is going for civil engineering also in wroclaw. He's studying in Polish language, but get this his program is nearly free!!! It is politechnika wroclaw. Warsaw, Poznan, Gdansk, Krakow are more known university cities but wroclaw ils just loved by students. It's young city that has lots of higher education schools and lots of young adults. It's also a beautiful European city.
