hi does anyone know if a 2002 400 fe stator cover will go on to a 2005 450 fe and keep my same stators thanks

No they are completely different, the 2002 cover (SEM) has three fixings for the stator and the 2005 has two, plus the 2005 has an external trigger where as the 2002 doesn't.
I didn't think they would be to hard to find, have you tried phoning Dave at DCR's?.
