they were my settings and i simply took 1mm off the bottom of the slide so that the cutaway was now 1mm shorter at 3 instead of 4mm. you also need to take a file to the idle screw ramp so that the tasper of the screw hits it just right.
they were my tests and my bike is a 400. the other two settings were recommended by a factory mechanic to the german and dale lineweaver to joeusa. the bikes were 501s though i think. i can say that the jetting would still look good on a 400 i bet.
so you see, you have three choices!
