just an idea pete and probably introducing cost but.....
what about the three shafts being on an eccentric? machine two faces at 180 in the middle for a spanner to fir=t (CSA reads like a speedway track) mark a line in the top so that all three shafts can turn eccentrically inwards or outwards against the flywheels and kinda semi - hem-them-in?
i'll shut up now!
