As nice as the Honda's are, I am not thinking of that. Rather a Ducati.

The new 749R to be exact. Anyone have a Ducati experience they can share?

I wanted to ask the ol' trusted experts at UHE for their take.

I have been considering a street bike for some time. And this one seems to be allmost as mesmerizing as it is expensive.

i have 5 ducatis in the shed but unfortunately none of them are the watercooled variety. from what i can make out everyone who buys them, loves them. i have a friend here in soham (near ely) who has the 748 cooking model and wows for a 916 but that's all i can tell ya!

My dad, sister, and a friend of mine all have 748s. I have ridden them around a bit. They are great handling machines, and inspire a large amount of cornering confidence. The ergos are very aggressive, and those who have trouble bending at the waist, and/or do not like much pressure on their arms and upper body while riding, will most likely not like them stock. Aesthetically, the 916 body style is the most beautiful sport bike I have seen. The latest generation style is about as ugly as a baboon's butt. Guess that is what happens when you let a French guy design the body work. Looking at Pugeots and Citreons, it comes of no surprise. :)
