Hello Dale,
The sound is constant. with pulled lever and without. I changed the oil but is ok. Little bit of alu film in the oil ( bike has just run 140 km's) and some little parts on the magnet.
Checked the clutch and is ok. The upper plate is like glued on the coverplate on the clutch. Mounted with a little oil and put the cluth together.
This week i make a testrun again and see what the result is. You are right because of the straight cut. On my former bike ( VOR) the camshaft was geardriven and also produces a whirring sound but was more a enjoying because damped by a counter plate with little spring shockabsorbers.
But if it can't hurt the berg i will get used to it.
The husaberg is further very nimble and has good handling. The VOR was good for tractorpulling and good for heavy sandtracks and i like the engine.
The power of the Husaberg is yet to come because of breaking in the first 400-500 km's.
Erik
