Hey fellows, I will once again have to apologize for not getting back any sooner, as I had for got were i had visited. Ammo yes your 02 is covered for rockers & balancer.Husabutt no your 01 is not,just 02s. I figured it might be a stretch for an 01 but that is awesome news for 02 owners. Going back four model years and updating is almost unheard of. That 470 is such a sweet motor I don't mind covering the costs for a rebuild with updated parts especially since I haven't encountered any problems.

Hey BOSS,
I have an 03 FE650 which i've converted to S'moto trim. I'm not that mechanically minded or much aware of Husaberg failures - I've owned mine for 2 months now and all seems well. Engine still feels tight and valves were done prior to purchase. I will follow the maintenace schedule religiously anyway but would like to know what parts are best upgraded when doing so - just to keep in front of those guys riding orange if nothjing else :wink:

Rosco 8) like 04 cam # 820-36-010-000 & cam gear 800-36-011-100 & decomp 590-36-016-000 & decomp spring 590-36-017-000 & sprocket bolts 0984-080103 & chain 820-36-013-100 & perhaps fcr 41mm carb, throttle housing & cables. ya that might help keep blue up front :idea: there is more A.
