broken valvesprings

hello all,

so Taffy??

Ok I installed the dual springs without any problems and they are a bit softer than the OEM ones,I also installed the other cam: 271 10,80lift and 261 10,20lift.

Results on the bench
The bike needs more fuel

Results on the tarmac
The bike revs a bit faster and is softer on bottom with the other cam,and felt stronger in mid and upper rpm,and keep on reving.

Smale note: I must grind a bit of the cylinderhead to pass the lobe easily and due by heat ,I will have no comntact with it.

I did the tests with the Akra on it,and I must say it looks beautiful, but I still prefer for power output the FP,only problem it is a bit to loud 99DB at 4000RPM.

I will try in near future the softer springs head +cam on my more preferable FP exhaust.

Greetings Madero

Hi Thomas, rotating valves have a problem of carbon build on the parts and thus ruining the surfaces, is one of the reasons I read about. Pneumatic valves are used extensively in F1 so the technology exists other than in a museum.
