i may have asked this before but i've done a search and nothing came up.

my brakes operate only at the bars due to the rekluse set-up. i have nissin on the right and the converted clutch on the left.

what is the daintiest cute 'lil switch i can fit that will give me a brake light?

i think the best place is as a banjo bolt substitute.

You could look at the way the front brake light switch works on a KTM and then use that setup for your other lever as well. Should be a press fit on the perch near the lever. When you pull the lever the switch part comes on out and turns on the brake light. This setup should work on both levers. The wires should be easy to hide as well.
Hope this helps

Isn't Nissin the standard issue on Yamahas and other UJM's? If so, there are lots of banjo bolt type front brake switches out there. 4strokesonly.com comes to mind, but surely there are places in the UK where it could be acquired.

Banjo??

What do you want a brake light for Tafffff? Here,,,,everyone removes the brake light banjo set up on their Yammies as the brake doesnt work as effectively with it? The switch assy on my 550 is tiny and the brembo's are excellent.

RE: Banjo??

i'm fine now lads. after putting all kinds of phrases in to e-bay i eventually settled on brake switch and got one from HSL. £10 and spot on. i get an MOT a week on saturday. in the uk all i need are road legal tyres, a silencer, a rear reflector and a horn.

BUT, BUT if the police come after me they can do me for the wrong size rear number plate and that's about it i hope. what with lights, brake light (off the front only) and taillight i should be up to spec for the coppers.

Taffy
